Bradley Beach is proud to be the home of many wonderful restaurants, especially those that serve authentic cuisine from different parts of the world. One of our best not-so-hidden gems is family-owned Bamboo Leaf Thai eatery. Located on Main Street, it’s the perfect spot to sit down to an amazing meal in the heart of Bradley’s shopping district.
Bamboo Leaf is family owned and operated and is currently on their 10th year in Bradley Beach. Ratchathon Tiajaroem, affectionately known to everyone as RT, says that the reason for the restaurant’s success is that the family simply LOVES food. His mother, who everyone calls “Mama J,” is a gifted chef and all the food that comes out of their kitchen is based off family recipes. Regulars and newbies alike are enthralled with the homey delicious flavors of authentic Thai food. The restaurant is BYOB so you can enjoy a bottle of wine without your wallet taking a major hit. They have many vegan selections and almost all the food is gluten-free so there are options for all diners.
While the menu has pretty much stayed the same over the past 10 years, the restaurant has recently renovated and remodeled their décor and branding. The cozy dining room features beautiful wood paneled ceilings and soothing aesthetic, with 15 tables inside and 6 tables outside during warmer weather. So whether you’re looking for a nice place to take the family, have a business lunch, or a romantic night out, Bamboo Leaf is sure to make a great impression.
